Filmit Inter-School Programme
Don Bosco High School Panjim participated in FILMIT 2026, an innovative multicultural film-making programme that fosters cultural understanding, care and appreciation among schools. It was an exciting platform for students to share their cultural experiences with other students from different parts of India. As part of the programme, students and teachers also attended a content and technical workshop, conducted by experienced content and filmmaking experts.
School Health Check-Up
A health check-up was conducted at the school to assess the students’ general health and well-being. The students underwent basic health examinations, including height and weight measurement, vision screening, and general medical assessment. The activity helped in identifying possible health concerns and promoting awareness about personal hygiene, nutrition, and healthy habits among students.
First Friday Mass And Prayer Service
A First Friday Mass was held to bring together students and staff for a time of prayer, reflection and thanksgiving. At the same time, a special prayer service for students of other faiths was organised in the Multipurpose Hall. The observance was a meaningful opportunity for the entire school community to pause, reflect and begin the month with a renewed sense of faith, purpose and togetherness.
Student Council Meeting
Held with the Headmaster, Supervisors, Coordinators and members of the School Council, the meeting discussed matters related to student discipline, school conduct and the overall well-being of the school community. The meeting provided an opportunity to review existing practices and identify areas that could be strengthened to ensure a disciplined, positive and supportive school environment.
NCC Tiranga Rally
As part of the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign, the school’s NCC squad organised a Tiranga Rally on August 11 to spread the message of patriotism, unity and respect for our National Flag.
