A parent workshop on 'Fostering Healthy Digital Habits and Supporting Children in Achieving a Balanced, Productive, and Emotionally Healthy Lifestyle during Their Board Examination Year' was conducted on July 25, 2025 with a total of 46 parents in attendance.
Key speaker Prof. Lucette Virginkar addressed parents on students' study patterns and emphasised the importance of connecting and communicating with children rather than allowing conversations about studies to become repetitive or sound like habitual excuses and pressure. Parents were encouraged to understand their children's needs and support them through positive communication and meaningful engagement.
Speaker Sulaxa Gawas conducted an engaging and interactive, activity-based session that helped parents understand the influence and implications of the digital world on children. A SWOT analysis activity was conducted, enabling parents to reflect on the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats associated with children's digital habits and usage.
The session was highly interactive and equipped parents with practical insights and essential skills to help their children foster healthier digital habits, maintain a balanced lifestyle, manage academic demands, and support their emotional well-being during the important board examination year.
