On Friday, students from St. Dominic Savio Kindergarten celebrated Independence Day in the Aurelius Maschio multipurpose Hall. The programme began with a patriotic song followed by “What is Independence” a short film explaining how India got its Independence and a fancy-dress competition where the children dressed up as freedom fighters and spoke for a minute about the personalities they had dressed up as. The children had an insightful day into knowing their country’s Independence.
