The Investiture Ceremony of Don Bosco High School, Panjim was held on 19th Feburary 2020 where the newly elected office bearers from Classes IX took pledge to hold the school motto as the newly elected Headboys for the year 2020-2021 .The new headboys are Synclair D’Mello, Webster D’Souza and Condrad Fernandez. The event was presided over by the honourable Rector and Principal Rev Fr Avin Carvalho and our Administrator Rev Fr Joel D’Souza. It was indeed a moment of great pride for the achievers and their parents to see their sons recognized for their promising leadership and extraordinary contribution to the school.

The office bearers were conferred upon the sashes and badges by the dignitaries . The Headboys promised to shoulder the responsibility firmly and efficiently. In their address to the students they urged all the students to follow 4 things that are important, Academics, Balance, Co curricular activities and Discipline. The aim of establishing the Student Council in our school gives students an opportunity to acquire the sort of communication, planning and organisational skills which will be beneficial to them in their future Fr Joel addressed the gathering highlighting that we should be prepared to faces all challenges in life and that the success of the headboys lies in the support given to them by the students

Fr Avin administered the oath to the leaders. He thanked the outgoing headboys and School House Captains and Sports Captains for their immense dedication towards their service to school in their disciplined and quiet manner. He congratulated the newly elected headboys and emphasised on being impartial and honest in discharging their duties. He also encouraged them to uphold the values and be role models and make sincere efforts to ensure discipline in the school. The function concluded with the school anthem.
